TEDx Cambridge
For many years, CRMG has provided post production services for the live talks and performances of TEDx Cambridge. In 2018, Charles River Media Group’s founder Don Schechter expanded our role and he joined the TEDx Cambridge Team as Media Director. Don oversees the various aspects of production for the event at The Boston Opera House, as well as additional post-production carried out at our edit suites.
AHRT
Working with AHRT, we streamed a presentation and question and answer session of Google Director of Engineering Ray Kurzweil. The transmission was sent live – via 3D “Humagram” to the Hi-Tech Nation forum at a stadium in Minsk, Belarus . The audience witnessed Kurzweil as a hologram on stage and interacted with him via a two way feed.

Massachusetts Gaming Commission
CRMG was awarded the contract to webcast the public forums of the MA Gaming Commission at the MassMutual Center in Springfield and their Boston office. We provide a multi-camera live stream along with audio engineering and visual projection.
Octavia Spencer and Ryan Reynolds at Harvard’s Hasty Pudding
Hasty Pudding Theatricals is one of the oldest theatrical organizations in the world. Each year the organization presents the Woman and Man of the Year Awards to celebrities who have made lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment. This high profile, and news-making event takes place in Cambridge, MA and includes day-long events, a roast of the celebrity, interviews, and a press conference.
For over ten years we have filmed the roast, presser, and other festivities. In 2016, we proposed taking things to the next level with a multi-camera broadcast to Facebook Live. The Hasty Pudding jumped at the idea, and we made their stream come true…and have continued to do so year after year. One of our favorite annual events!
CROI Conference for JSI and HIV.gov
CRMG webcast interviews to Facebook Live during the 3-day shoot of the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections at the Hynes Convention Center. This was for client JSI and streamed via HIV.gov’s page. You can watch interviews here which were produced by just a two person crew!
